Projects in the pipeline

My random plans, matching fabric to patterns… in no particular order…& a bit of a mish mash – much like my brain!!  

Plans to tidy the look of this page up with the help of someone technical ….but for now – bit of a mess!

Currently working on:

Vogue 2155

In dark navy waffle weave suiting (I’m making the flared skirt)

To come ….

Vogue 8667 to be made out of a double knit from Croftmill.

Vogue 2155: An 80s Vogue (Calvin Klein) pattern – I love the high waists, particularly the flared skirt & wide legged trousers.

Trousers for work from the same pattern out of this amazing posh “Saville Row” wool suiting -Super 130s – well that’s what the local fabric shop told me.  It’s the most wonderful fabric.

Clovers in decadent midnight blue velvet needlecord.

I fancy using some pinstriped wool for a Meringue skirt, plus a matching waistcoat using a Project Runway pattern, Simplicity 2633.  (Pictures to come).

I have some royal blue linen (not sure if I have enough, however)

Mustn’t forget I’m making the Bombshell dress out of navy polka dot cotton.  If all goes to plan, I’ll get to grips with it in January so that I can wear it for my birthday party (disco dancing!)

I’m dying to make this dress/ tunic, but which fabric to use?

I have visions of an old school librarian’s blouse, Peter Pan collar, tie neck & sleeves with long cuffs – perhaps 4 buttons & rouleau loops.

I also have thoughts for more blouses & some knit tops …. but patterns tbd…

I SHOULD replace the header tape on my lounge curtains – the shame- when I’ve got the tape already ….
