Me Made March days 24, 25 & 26

Another quick photo upload for Me Made March.  Happy to say that next week I have a week’s leave, & what does that mean?  Why, plenty more Scruffy Badger Time of course.  Thank you for all the comments you leave & am sorry that I have been less able to come & visit you all – I am looking forward to catching up on all my blog reading/ commenting too next week.  But for now, to get up to date with Me Made March & a sneaky peek at the Happy Denim shirtdress (whose completion is IMMINENT!!) “Not before time” I hear myself saying ….

Day 24

2 me mades:

  • Cinnamon slip blogged here
  • New Look polka dot skirt 6569
  • Me made jewellery

Day 25, dragged from the laundry bin as I completely forgot to take a picture, so relieved was I to get home after an intense but successful day at work.

2 me mades:

  • Ric Rac polka dot blouse blogged here
  • Cherry Red Beignet blogged here
  • Rose earrings already worn lots this month

Day 26

  • Busty Vogue 8534, blogged here
  • Trellick Clothkits skirt blogged here
  • Me made jewels
  • Look- no tights!

I have given up on the 4 words, mainly because life is happening & is not particularly joyful.  This & others’ blogs though (& your lovely comments) will start to pick me back up.

Onto the sneak peek of the “Happy” Denim shirt dress … I need to do the side seams, cuffs & the hem, & that’s it.  Hopefully I will be able to grab some time tomorrow as I’m aiming to wear it this week coming & display it as a March outfit.

Looking OK?  You can just about see my first flat felled seam, basting still to be taken out.  Top stitching using buttonhole thread (my machine didn’t really like it- its shuttle tension went really weird).  Anyway, here’s to a couple of hours at my machine tomorrow.

Byeee everyone, have a lovely weekend xx
